Charles Raymond Steen

Charles Raymond Steen, Jr, 58, passed peacefully at his home on December 18, 2025 in Conway, SC after a very brief battle with a recent illness. Formerly of Seekonk and Swansea Massachusetts Charlie had recently moved to the area and became a proud Veteran homeowner. Charles is predeceased by his daughter Madelyn Steen and his loving parents Charles Sr and Alberta (Beaudoin) Steen. Charlie is survived by three younger sisters, Cheri Walsh and her husband Chris of Bridgewater, Massachusetts as well as Claire Steen and Cindy Kilroe of Wareham, MA.

Charlie is an Army Veteran as well as a retired Massachusetts Correctional Officer of 25+ years, spending many of those at Southeastern, the Kitchen Warehouse and Bridgewater State Hospital.

Charlie leaves behind countless brothers and sisters in blue. Charlie was always good for debating a union rule, pushing the right buttons or eating from your lunch box. More importantly, Charlie was truly a kind and gentle man.

Please hold Charlie's children and grandchildren in your thoughts at this time, all of which he absolutely adored. Phillip Given and his wife Melissa of Bunker Hill, WV and their children Branson and Denver. Olivia Steen of Andover, MA and his youngest children, Isabella and Irene Steen.
