Charles Eugene Steller, a resident of Blackville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on Thursday, November 10th, 1949, in Garden City, Michigan, Charles led a life characterized by love, dedication, and service.
Charles proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, embodying bravery and commitment throughout his military career. After his service, he dedicated his professional life to the carpet sales industry, becoming a trusted and respected figure in the field due to his integrity and work ethic.
Charles is survived by his loving family: his father and stepmother, Murray Henry and Panagiota Steller of Aiken; his sister, Valorie Parry and her husband Jack of New York; his brother, Alex Steller and his wife Jennifer of Aiken; and his cherished grandson, Matthew Teller, who brought immense joy to his life.
Charles will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments and military service but also for the warmth and kindness he showed to everyone he met. His family and friends will miss his humor, his generous spirit, and the strength with which he faced life's challenges.
In honor of Charles's love for animals, memorial donations can be made to FOTAS (Friends of the Animal Shelter) to continue his legacy of caring.
