September 29, 1940 - October 7, 2025
CHARLES RAY STEPHENS, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Brown Memorial Hospital, Circleville, Ohio. Charles was born in Hometown, West Virginia, on September 29, 1940. Preceded in death were his parents, Stanley and Letha Stephens; siblings Harold, Mildred, Lorene, Ralph and David; and the love of his life, companion of nearly 40 years, Mary Swartz.
He is survived by his son, Michael Scott Stephens, his grandsons Michael Junior and Jared, and granddaughter, Chelsie. He is also survived by his dear sister, Mary Purdy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and closest friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at the Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Route 62, Red House, 25168, Putnam County, West Virginia.
