Charlie was born in 1964 in Meyersdale, PA, the son of the late Richard and Virgie Swauger. He was employed as a form setter for Gull Corp. Charlie was a hard worker and would do anything for anybody and cared for everyone. He enjoyed doing yard work but especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Janell (Esser) Swauger, daughters, Lisa Westfall, and Leah Swauger; grandchildren, Isaiah, Jasmine, James and Damion; sister, Linda Kay Hetz and brothers, Billy Joe Swauger and Wayne Swauger.
Along with his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Garlitz and his brother, Robert Swauger.
A service will be held for Charlie on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1pm in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Omps Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
