He was born May 1, 1941, in Glen Dale, WV, son of the late Charles W. and Joan Boyce Terry.
He was as a retired supervisor for AEP Kammer Power Plant with over 30 years of service and worked under former Attorney General Daryl McGraw. He was a former member of Benwood Council, former Commissioner of Benwood/McMechen Housing; enjoyed NASCAR racing and traveling especially to Key West. He was Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary "Babe" Terry ('til death do us part); one daughter, Amy Terry (Ron) of Benwood, WV; 8 grandchildren, Ashley (Dustin), Cory (Kristen), Brittany (Mike), Tyler, William, Walker, Ava, Garrett; 4 great- grandchildren, Cason, Camden, Ethan, Kiyan; two brothers, Donald Terry of Sherrard, WV, Rick Terry of Belmont, OH, one sister, Jayne Lee (Rick) Young of Belmont, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Lea, Selma, Bill, Denise, Dana, Curt; and friends of 50 years Sandie and Jim.
Family will receive friends Monday December 1, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd Wheeling/Bethlehem, WV.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities 2000 Main St. Wheeling, WV, 26003.
