Mark Bass Obituary

He was born September 17, 1966 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late John "Jack" Arthur and Charlotte Katherine Rothermund Bass.
Mark was a welder for 32 years at Swisher International; enjoyed hunting, fishing, men's softball, cutting grass, and was a member of the PAP Club. He was an excellent father and the hardest working man you knew.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Colleen Kudlak Bass; three children, Hannah Elizabeth Bass Sheldon and her husband Cody Sheldon of Bethlehem, WV, Tanner Alan Bass (Morgan Graham) of Bethlehem, WV, Garrett Keith Bass (Mikayla Rebecca) of Bethlehem, WV; beloved dogs Ed and Eli; sisters, Lisa Oliver (Chuck Parker) of Triadelphia, WV, Susan (Michael) Thomas of Wheeling, WV; several nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends.
Family will receive friends Friday October 31, 2025 from 4:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd Wheeling/Bethlehem, WV.
Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
