Sandra L. "Sandy" Wojcicki

Sandra "Sandy" Wojcicki, 82, of Mount Olivet, passed away peacefully on October 10,
2025, at home with her family by her side. Born January 23, 1943, in Wheeling, WV, she
was the daughter of the late Elmer and Sophie Polanski DeBolt.
Sandy was a former secretary at Tri-State Machine and will be fondly remembered by
many on the Hilltop for her years of dedicated service to customers at the former Kwik
Shop in Mt. Olivet and The Loading Zone in Bethlehem. She also served as a devoted
caretaker for others in need. She brought energy, dedication, and a wide range of
talents to everything she pursued, always taking great pride in her work. She was an
excellent seamstress who provided costume and alteration work for numerous people
over the years. She enjoyed designing and crafting beautiful holiday décor, which made
the holidays special. She was an avid cook and baker. Her cream horns and nut roll
cookies were her specialty, and her cabbage rolls were legendary!
She adored her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. Her love lives on in them, and
they will continue her legacy. She will be remembered for her kind and caring heart, her
generosity toward everyone she met, and her deep love for Jesus Christ! She will live
on in all the hearts she touched.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Ray"
Francis Wojcicki. Survivors include three children, Stephanie (Sean) Coughlan of
Wheeling; Jay Wojcicki of Mt. Olivet; Jason Wojcicki of Kentucky; four grandchildren,
Jacob and Brianna Coughlan, Zachary and Lauren Wojcicki; three sisters, Cheryl (Tim)
Gilson of North Carolina, Pat (Bill) Edge of Wheeling, and Linda Hamilton of Bridgeport,
Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Thursday, October 23, 2025, at St.
Alphonsus Church in Wheeling, with Father John Soplinski as celebrant.
