Frank H. Wojcicki Jr.

Frank H. Wojcicki, Jr., age 85, of Avon Lake, Ohio and formerly of Monroe, North Carolina passed away Monday, May 12, 2025. He was born November 15, 1939 in Yonkers, New York to parents Frank and Matilda (nee Zolchak) Wojcicki.
Frank grew up in Yonkers, New York where he was a born and bred Yankees fan. He grew up spending time with family and friends at the games, cheering on his favorite players Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle. Frank even tried out for the Yankees, knowing he wouldn't make the team, but just wanting to be on their field. During his career Frank and his family moved to Monroe, North Carolina during his work with the Eaton Corporation. After 30 years with the company in account management, Frank retired from Eaton in 2002 due to health concerns. After retirement, Frank went on to enjoy almost 20 years at what became his favorite job, greeting customers for the Walmart Corporation. In later life when asked about his career, Frank would regularly tell wonderful stories about his time with Walmart and all the time he enjoyed working for them.
As a young man Frank enjoyed fishing and began his love for music, learning to play the accordion. He had a quick wit and loved being around people, sharing a joke with everyone. Frank's love of music helped him to transition from the accordion to the organ, and he shared his talents at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Monroe for 30 years. When Frank later moved to an assisted living residence, he was given a keyboard for his room and would play it often, much to the delight of his neighbors.
Frank was the beloved husband of the late Betty Wojcicki; loving father of Joan Fortney (Rick), Hank Wojcicki (Missy), and Mark Wojcicki (Cynthia); dear grandfather of Andrew Wojcicki (Alexis) and Thomas Wojcicki. He was the brother of the late Julia Gentile; brother-in-law and friend of Jerry Gentile; and uncle of Gerald (Donna) Gentile, Chris (Michele) Gentile, and Michael (Samantha) Gentile.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, OH 44012. Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 32946 Electric Blvd, Avon Lake, OH 44012.
