Robert "Chick" V. Wojcicki
February 7, 1947 – August 5, 2025

Robert "Chick" V. Wojcicki, 78, of Hampton, New Jersey, passed away at his home on August 5, 2025.

Born on February 7, 1947, in Weehawken, New Jersey, Chick was the son of the late Wallace and Joan Wojcicki. He grew up in West New York, NJ and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1964. Immediately following graduation, Chick enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal for his honorable service overseas.

Upon returning home, Chick married the love of his life, JoAnn Wojcicki. The two shared 52 wonderful years together before her passing in 2022. Together, they raised three sons-Kevin, Timothy, and Brian in Hampton, NJ.

Chick spent his professional career as Communications Manager with Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal. Beyond his career, he remained committed to his fellow veterans and his country. He was a proud member of the VFW Post in Glen Gardner, the American Legion, and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.

Known for his loyalty, passion, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends, Chick will be remembered as a devoted husband, a caring father, and a steadfast friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his three sons Kevin, Timothy, and Brian; Kevin's wife Ronda and their sons Shane and Kyle, and Timothy's wife Crystin and their daughters Hannah, Mackenzie and Olivia. In addition to his wife JoAnn, he was predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Joan Wojcicki.

In accordance with Chick's wishes a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
