Charles Henry Thibodeaux passed away on April 13, 2023 in Pearl River, Louisiana, at the age of 94. He was born on July 2, 1928, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Henry Thibodeaux and Emma Poe.
Charles was a proud Veteran, having served in both the United States Navy and the United States Army during World War II. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career as a business owner, specializing in refrigeration installation.
Throughout his life, Charles was passionate about racing motorcycles, go-carts, and boats. He won numerous awards for his skills on the track and on the water. Charles was an active member of Doc's Motorcycle Club, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his love for racing.
In his later years, Charles discovered a love for sailing and spent many happy days aboard his sailboat after retiring.
In addition to his adventurous spirit, Charles was a dedicated and loving family man. He is survived by his children, Billie Dunn, Charles Thibodeaux (Luciana), and Leslie Marceaux (Wolf); his grandchildren, Shelly (Adam), Jason (Bethann), Stephen, Alan (Britni), Tabitha (Eric), Adam (Jessica), Brandon (Jennifer), Rick, Tiffany, Fonzy (Ruth), and Tina; and 18 great-grandchildren.
