Beverly Miller Minor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Audubon Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Slidell on Dec. 27, 2025.
Beverly Ann Miller Minor, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on December 15, 1942, in the vibrant city of New Orleans and resided in St. Bernard Parish before relocating to Slidell.
Beverly's early years in New Orleans set the stage for a life full of joy, family, and service. She is the cherished daughter of the late William and Evelyn Miller and grew up alongside her siblings, the late Janice Bourgeois and William Miller Jr., and her surviving brother, Henry Miller Sr.
The marriage of Beverly and her late husband, Arthur G. Minor Jr., spanned 46 beautiful years. Together, they built a family that was her pride and joy. Beverly was a devoted mother to her four sons, Arthur G. Minor III (Sara), Wayne J. Minor Sr. (Tammy), Steven Jerome Minor (Christine), and Randy Paul Minor. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and memories for her grandchildren, Audra Minor, Wayne Minor Jr., Joshua Fuller, Phillip "P.J." Minor, Tabitha Minor, Megan Minor, and Victoria Minor. She also leaves behind, to cherish her memory, a host of extended family members and friends.
Beverly took immense pride in her role as a homemaker, ensuring that her home was a haven of comfort and love for all who entered. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family as she served as a den leader for Pack 236 of St. Bernard Parish for a decade, guiding young minds with patience and kindness.
Her interests and hobbies were a reflection of her zest for life. Beverly's fondness for the thrill of the casino was matched only by her passion for LSU Football, a pastime she joyously shared with her husband, Arthur.
Beverly's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched. Her unwavering love and infectious enthusiasm for life's adventures will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Beverly will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a private graveside service. Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com
