Charles Toward Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Hughey Toward, Jr., 62, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born January 31, 1962, in Allegheny County, a son of Charlene Smith Toward and the late Charles Hughey Toward, Sr. Chuck was a graduate of Canon-Mac High School Class of 1979. He built a career in hydraulic mechanics and machinery repair at Chuck's Mechanics, where he was the owner / operator. Chuck was dedicated to his family and loved spending time with them and friends. He especially enjoyed "fixing s**t." On September 26, 2015, he married his wife, Jamie Hennick Toward, who survives. Also surviving are four sons: Nicholas (Abby) Toward, Colton (Maddy) McAvoy, Cody McAvoy and Johnathan Guarascio; two sisters, Denise (David) Slates and Kim (Bob) Charlier; and many nieces and nephews. All arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A guest book is available at NealFuneralHome.com
