Charles (Chic) Tripamer
Age 77, passed away suddenly Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Advent Bolingbrook Hospital. Born in Chicago, Charles was a resident of Romeoville for the past 48 years and worked in Security System Sales for ADT, retiring after 47 years of service. Prior to his career in Sales, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving from 1966 to 1968. His greatest love was for his family, and he and his wife, Corey, were blessed with four children. During their childhood, Charles coached numerous youth sports programs in Romeoville and later became an avid and proud fan of his grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Corrine Tripamer; children Sandra (Michael) Pisano, Scott (Denise) Tripamer, Jean (Daniel) Bruno, and Michael Tripamer; siblings Donna (the late David, Sr.) Kelley, Lawrence Tripamer, and Dale (the late Edward) Ward; grandchildren Morgan Bruno, Chase Bruno, Trista Pisano, Riley Pisano, and Mackenzie Tripamer, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cecelia Tripamer, step-father, Earl Stahl, and siblings Gerald (Mary) Tripamer, Ronald (Martha) Tripamer and Linda (Klaus) Grigutis.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr., Romeoville, IL 60446. Funeral will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Romeoville for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

I didn´t know Chic well, but my Dad did. They worked at ADT together for many years. They were good friends. My Dad passed away three months earlier than Chic. I´m sure he was up in Heaven waiting for the moment Chic arrived.
