Charles Tull Obituary

Charles 'Chuck' Lewis Tull died on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at age 85.
He was born on October 17, 1939 in Bauxite, to Laura and Lonnie Tull.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Lynne Grant Tull; his sister, Peggy Tull Roberson of Benton, Arkansas; his children, Sherri Tull and Catherine Lewis; and Grandchildren, Haley Dickerson and Hayden Dickerson.
Chuck earned a BA from Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas and an MBA from Indiana University, Bloomington, Illinois. He served in the Arkansas Air National Guard.
He began his business career at AP&L, Pine Bluff and later in New Orleans. He moved to Little Rock to work for First National Bank in Little Rock in Data Processing. He retired in 1985 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. He then was able to fulfill his lifetime 'dream job' as a professional golf teaching pro at First Tee of Arkansas, Little Rock. He taught both adults and children. He was an accomplished artist and musician and a member of Brush Strokes Club and the Cedar Mountain Singers. He loved playing his guitar and ukulele. As a member of Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church he served as a Stephen Minister.
Chuck will be missed by his family and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1:00pm.

Chuck was two years ahead of me in school and was one of the 'big boys'. I looked up to him and felt good when he recognized me. I hurt for his family.
