Charles Ungermann Obituary
NORTH GREENBUSH - Charles Michael Ungermann, Sr. passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024. Charley, as he was affectionately known, was born in Dearborn, Michigan on Christmas Day, 1934.
Charley was predeceased by his parents, Norman Sr. and Mary Ungermann; brother, Richard (Belle) Ungermann; and a son, Michael Ungermann. He is survived by his wife, Gerry; son, Charles (Kathy) Ungermann Jr.; stepson, Jeff Bowen; daughter, Cathryn Ungermann; and brother, Norman Ungermann, Jr. Also surviving are four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, May 19, with visitation starting at 2:30 p.m. and Service of Remembrance at 4 p.m. at W.J. Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, New York 12144. Condolence page can be found at www.wjlyonsfuneralhome.com
