Charles "Buddy" Franklin Viles, age 88 of Rocky Top, Tennessee entered the presence of the Lord on August 25, 2025 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Buddy was born on March 26, 1937 in Coal Creek, Tennessee to the late Willie Tomlee Viles and Margaret Josephine Bennett Viles. Buddy worked as a skilled brick mason with a strong work ethic for over 40 years. His incredible work ethic will be remembered by all his family and friends.
He was a mild-mannered and humble man with a generous heart and soul. He loved all animals and God's beautiful gift of nature. He lived his life each day as it was presented to him with a fulfilling and meaningful existence.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Patricia Ann Kerrigan; brothers: Daniel "Danny" Viles and Billy Eugene Viles, granddaughter: Tabitha Lambert, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Grace and Charlie Albertini.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2025 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Orick officiating.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Island Home Cemetery in Norris.
