Chuck Walton, resident of Burleson TX, passed away on July 31, 2024, peacefully at home at the age of 67.
Chuck was born on December 6, 1956, in Schuylkill, Pennsylvania. He lived a military childhood and moved frequently, living in Pennsylvania, Jacksonville, FL., and then Beeville, TX, where he graduated high school from A.C. Jones High, and also met his wife of 46 years, Wanda Walton. They married October 15th, 1977, and later grew their family by adding two children; son Jeremy and daughter Holly.
At the age of 26, Chuck followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the U.S. Navy. This experience allowed him to travel the world and experience being able to walk the streets of Jerusalem and Turkey. This is also the time that he developed his love for aviation and led to his career. His early years were spent with Delta Airlines, working in DFW then ultimately, he began long-distance commuting. With Delta, he spent time working in Vancouver, British Columbia and commuted back home to Burleson, Texas. His final years have been spent working with United Airlines as a Program Manager, working in locations like Singapore and Hong Kong. When he was not working, he loved spending time with his grandsons, Maddox and Colt. Having Sunday family dinners with the whole crew in-tow. He frequently visited flea markets, even when vacationing in tropical locations such as Hawaii. This helped to build his antique toy collection. Chuck was known for always having snacks available and ready to share, his love for harmless pranks, and having a bright smile on his face. He lived a service-driven life, committing himself to helping others however he could.
