Charles "Chuck" Warda

Charles Clark "Chuck" Warda, 57, of Portland, Oregon, passed away July 16, 2024 of Pancreatic Cancer with his family, girlfriend and friends at his side. Born in New Britain on July 18, 1966, he was son of Barbara Warda of Newington and the late Charles Warda. Chuck graduated from Newington High School, Class of 1984 and then graduated from the Hartford Conservatory. He was a former Hartford resident and lived in Portland the past 20 years. He was an amazing, gifted, talented musician. A deep thinking and soulful man who easily connected with others and made lifelong friends. Chuck also loved being in nature and he loved animals. He was a consummate front man vocalist and guitarist whom played at numerous venues from coast to coast. He also worked as an Audio Engineer for many years for several prestigious music groups. Chuck could play multiple instruments but is best known for his incredible, soulful guitar playing.
Besides his mother Barbara, he leaves a sister, Sarah Warda, his beloved nephew, Charles Borino, his girlfriend Kellie Radon, several cousins and his 2 cats as well as many wonderful friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Chuck at the South Church Chapel, 90 Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051 on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 3 PM. A reception will follow at Brick House in Newington. Donations may be made to The Artists Collective, 1200 Albany Ave., Hartford, CT 06112 or to South Church. Rest in peace dear chuck.
