Charles Waswick Obituary
died unexpectedly on December 7, 2023, at the age of 29.
Charles was born on August 8, 1994, in Saginaw, the second son to Brian Waswick and Dora Fuller. Charles was a graduate of St. Charles High School, class of 2012. He battled Ewing's Sarcoma courageously for 10 years, and was in remission. He was known by his family for being a tinkerer, being gifted in his ability to play the guitar, fishing, playing cards, going on walks outdoors, and spending time with his friends. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his parents, Brian and Dora Waswick; brother, Patrick (Erica) Waswick; niece Kellyann Waswick; and nephew, Nicholas Waswick; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betsy (Nicholas) Waswick and William (Marian) Fuller ; uncle, Nick Waswick; aunts, Carol Carson and Deanna Hamelink.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 2:00pm till 7:00pm at McGeehan Funeral Home - St. Charles Chapel. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at McGeehan Funeral Home - St. Charles Chapel. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in St. Charles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may to be made to the family, in honor of Charles.
