Charles West Obituary
Charles Henry West age 76 of Wilson, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson NC, on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC. Rev. Daylon Mooneyham and Rev. Scott Sauls will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at Joyner’s Funeral Home on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Tammy Hinton West; daughter Crystal West Whitley and son-in-law John; His grandson Conner Whitley, who every one knows is the light of his life, and Avery Bissette, his sisters Doris Walls and husband Billy, and Marie Peacock and husband J.F. He is also survived by numerous, special, and very loved nieces, nephews, and extended family, as well as many, very dear friends.
Charles was preceded by His parents Royal and Ethal West; sisters Shirley West Brown, Mavis Pipkin, and Ann Carol Harris; brother Luther Strickland; and niece Wanda Jenkins.
