Charles Wideman Obituary
Charles J. Wideman, 80, of Abbeville, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at his home. He was born in McCormick to the late Ralph Marion and Maggie Turnage Wideman.
A graduate of McCormick High School, Charles honorably served his country in the South Carolina National Guard. He retired after many dedicated years of service from Greenwood Mills and was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by five siblings, Ralph M. Wideman, Jr., Lorene Whitfield, James Leonard Wideman, Shirley Lowery and Patrick Wideman
Charles is survived by four siblings, Curtis Wideman, Ricky Wideman, Lee Wideman, and Elizabeth Brock.
