Charles Deshon Williams known as "Shon", a contract worker, entrepreneur, and life-long resident of Detroit and Columbus died unexpectantly on January 8th, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.

Charles is survived by his father Charles Pounds; his two sons Charles Dshawn Williams and Charles Deshawn Williams, his adopted son/nephew Gerard Dominique Hightower, his two sisters, Latrese Williams and Tamika Williams; his two brothers, Jeuquan Williams and Dominique Williams; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He is predeceased by his loving mother Doris Williams; grandfathers, Arvell Williams and Nunnon Pounds; grandmothers Mary Williams and Dixie Pounds, aunts Joyce Peppers, Denise Williams, Dorothy Pounds, Belinda Pounds, Mary Ruth Tanks; uncles Curtis Williams, Norman Pounds, and Jimmy Pounds.

Charles was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 9, 1978. Charles is the son of Charles Pounds and the late Doris Williams.

Charles is the oldest boy of five children from this union. As a youth Charles attended Chaney

Elementary, Pelham Middle School, and Murray Wright High School all in Detroit, Michigan. Charles moved back to Columbus during his High School years and graduated from Centennial High School.

Charles became an ordained minister at the age of 21 alongside his cousin Rajer Brown. He officiated multiple weddings for family members, participated in multiple baptisms, and continued to keep and spread his faith throughout his life.

First and foremost, Charles was the biggest fan of the Universtiy Of Michigan Wolverines in America! ! ! He was rarely seen without some sort of Michigan gear on. Charles was a very skilled painter and operated his own painting business. He was often contracted to paint local business and most notably 34 classrooms in Pickerington High School. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
