Charles Wingo Obituary

Published by Highland Funeral Service-Lindsey Funeral Home - Rural Retreat on Sep. 7, 2016.

Charles was born on June 13, 1934 and passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Charles was a resident of Rural Retreat, Virginia at the time of his passing. He was a twenty year Army Veteran. He was married to Betty. A private graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday September 9 2016 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ivanhoe with Pastor Jonathan Hamman and Vicar Felicia Swartz officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 229. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Lindsey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of oneâs choice.
