Rev. Charles Edgar Wyatt, Jr., age 79, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2025, in Newnan, Georgia. Charles "Ed" (Eddie) was born on November 10, 1945, in Roanoke, VA, to the late Charles Edgar Wyatt, Sr. and Leona Hampton Wyatt. He was a Pastor, devoted husband, father, and grandfather (Pappy). He loved sharing Jesus to the world, he greatly loved his family, and he was an amazing storyteller and vocalist. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cindy Parker Wyatt; beloved son, Charles Edgar Wyatt III "Eddie"; sister Diane Wyatt; and brother, Ronnie Wyatt. Ed is survived by his son William "Bill" Grady Wyatt and his wife Kasey, treasured grandchildren: William Brentsen Wyatt, Andrew Kaeden Wyatt, Maysie Keegan Wyatt, and Gracie Lynn Wyatt. He is also survived by his siblings: Vicki Wyatt and Jerry Wyatt (Jan); sister-in-law, Donna Humble; and brothers-in-law: Barry Parker (Meriweather), Bruce Parker, and Eddie Parker; his nephews Cliff Strickland, Dylan Wyatt, Matthew Humble, Timothy Humble, and Winston Parker; niece Jessica Kendall; and many beloved cousins. Ed's legacy of faith, joy, humor, and strength will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His memory will forever be a blessing. Funeral services will be on September 14, 2025, at Turin Baptist Church with Pastor John McDuffy officiating. Visitation will be from 2-3 pm, and the funeral will be at 3 pm with a graveside service immediately after at Turin Memorial Gardens.
