Charles Yockman Obituary
He played football for Eastern District High School until he graduated and enlisted in the Navy where he became a Petty Officer for naval aviation. After his Navy service he worked as a banker for many years. Later he worked as an accountant in the diamond district in New York City until his retirement.
He met the light of his life, Mary J. Amoroso, and spent 59 wonderful years with her raising their three children. He is survived by his wife and sons, Michael and Giacomo. His daughter Anita passed away 10 years ago, and he missed his Zookie every day she was gone.
Charles and Mary spent their retirement years in Cave Creek Arizona attending mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish and playing the slots at their favorite casino.
The family has decided not to hold memorial services, but instead will cremate Charles' remains so that he will forever rest alongside his beloved daughter Anita's ashes.
