Quietly passed away Wednesday August 23, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father Charlie S. Donaldson his mother Esther Donaldson and a granddaughter Samantha Kersey. He was born and raised in Pensacola, Fl.
Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball and spending time with family.
After graduation he started his lifelong career at Gulf Power as a Line Service Man for 42 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Susan Donaldson of 42 years and three daughters Lisa White, Tracy (Stephen) Bostic and Tammy (Patsy) Donaldson.
Grandchildren Shawna Kersey, Evan (Katherine) Donaldson, Shirley (Auston) Matthews, Makinlee White and John Davis.
Great Grandchildren Kalyb, Devon and Taigon Washington, Charlie A. Donaldson, Theodore and Tucker Matthews.
We would like to thank Sacred Heart Hospital Covenant Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they gave to our family during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 Monday August 28, 2023 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Chapel with services beginning at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow.
