A memorial service will be held at Kitt Swamp Christian Church, Ernul, NC on Wednesday, September 3rd at 12pm with visitation following the service.
Charlie was retired from Nutrien in Aurora, NC. Throughout his life he acquired many close friends through his job as well as many hobbies which included drag racing and restoring antique automobiles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Mildred Vendrix, as well as a brother Jimmie Vendrix (surviving wife Jenny).
He is survived by his wife Regina Cutler Vendrix and step-daughter Georgia Brady (Seth) and grandchildren. Sisters, Jean Carol Halstead (Syd) of New Bern, and Joy Vendrix Guthrie (John) of Vanceboro; nephew Jason Guthrie (Brittany) and daughter Carson of Vanceboro as well as extended family and friends.
