Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home on Feb. 9, 2026.
Charline Wiseman Kamp Griffin, known for her gentle heart, creative spirit, and deep love for her family, passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born on June 18, 1934, in Sudan, Texas, a place that shaped her values and remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Charline was the daughter of Charles and Mable Wiseman, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Paula Shaw, her brother, T.C. Wiseman, and her beloved niece, Shae Sisco.

She is survived by her loving children: Kathy Tinsley, Bill Kamp (Janet), and Jim Kamp (Karen). She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Charline is also survived by her brother, Buddy Wiseman (Betty), her sister, Frances Sisco (Leroy), and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Charline dedicated many years of her life to education, serving with Plainview Public Schools, where she taught printing press and shared her knowledge of producing printed materials such as report cards and school newspapers. Her patience, skill, and quiet dedication left a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.

An excellent seamstress, Charline also found great joy in creative expression. Her hobbies included ceramics and jewelry making, pursuits that reflected her attention to detail and love of beauty. Many will remember the care and pride she took in everything she created.

Charline loved playing bridge and was very involved in her church, where her faith and service were evident to all who knew her. Above all, she was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren and treasured time spent with her family.

The family would also like to extend their sincere appreciation to the caregivers and staff at Menger Springs for the compassionate and loving care they provided Charline over the last several years of her life. Their kindness, dedication, and respect brought comfort to both Charline and her family and will always be remembered with gratitude.

Charline will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, faith, and the love she shared so freely with others. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so dearly.
