Charline Lavonne Smith, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
Charline was born July 12, 1940, in Boise, ID to the late Charles Russell Capps and Arline McClure Capps.
Charline’s health prevented her from being active, especially in recent years. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed making jewelry for family and friends and was an excellent bead maker. Charline also loved animals, especially her dogs, Jake and Poppi, and her cat, Snickers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Evan Bock.
Surviving family includes her husband of 38 years, Wayne Smith; daughter, Leslie Bock; sons, Scott Dickerson and Steven Dickerson; and grandson, Christopher Bock.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Francis Smith officiating.
Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Smith family.
