Charlotte Janice Bryant

Charlotte Janice Bryant, 87 of Hickory died Friday, August 15, 2025 at Trinity Ridge. Born June 6, 1938 she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Freeman. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hickory.

Her daughter, Terry Brown; her son, Douglas Bryant Jr. (Lisa); her three grandchildren, Gwenna Bryant, Carson Bryant and John Brown and special family member, Nakia Tucker survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband of 58 years, Douglas Eugene Bryant; her daugher, Sylvia Bryant; her sister, Shirley Weygel; her four brothers, Marvin Freeman, Richard Freeman, Forest Freeman and Herman Freeman preceded her in death.

The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church located at 1823 3rd Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28602 with Pastor Bert Dickson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
