Charlotte Bunch Obituary
Charlotte Louise Bunch, 89, Hertford, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025.
A native of Binghamton, NY, Charlotte was the wife of 59 years to the late Donald Branch Bunch, Sr. and the daughter of Clifton Bunch, Sr. and Lottie N. Bunch, both deceased. She was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Charlotte loved quilting and sharing her beautiful creations with family and friends.
Survivors include her two sons, Donald Branch “Donnie” Bunch, Jr. and Robert Glenn Bunch, both of Hertford, NC. In addition to her husband and parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brother, Clifton “Buddie” Bunch, Jr.
Mrs. Bunch will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, Hertford, NC.
A graveside service celebrating Charlotte’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, NC with Pastor Greg Owenby officiating.
