Charlotte Marie Hauke, age 80, is now resting in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after passing away on July 31, 2025, at her home in Cleveland, Texas. She was born on March 25, 1945, in Orange, Texas to J.L. and Marie Brinkley.
Charlotte, a lifelong believer in our Lord formalized her beliefs on September 18, 2005, being baptized in the Trinity River near Moss Hill, Texas.
Charlotte was a homemaker who created a nurturing home for Allen, her husband and best friend of 61 years, and their two children. As a devoted military spouse, she willingly accepted the hardships and responsibilities of frequent moves and separations. She was a giving and generous person, a wonderful cook, and an exceptional wife and mother. Throughout her beautiful life, she never shied away from being a “girly girl”, but always a woman of noble character.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Allen, son James, and son John and his wife Connie. She also leaves behind several grandchildren and her honorary daughter, Teresa Buell and Teresa’s husband Pat. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
