Charlotte Ann Hicks, age 74, of Middlesboro, KY, entered her Heavenly home on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born in Middlesboro, KY, on February 23, 1951, to the late Myrtle Hazel Baker.
Charlotte was a Registered Nurse at Middlesboro ARH Hospital for 33 years. In addition to her legacy of caregiving to the many patients she served, Charlotte is remembered for her sense of humor and love of the outdoors, especially the beach. She also relished a good cup of coffee anytime she could enjoy one.
In addition to her mother, Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Miracle and brother, Jimmy Baker.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tonya Gambrel; granddaughters, Heather Gambrel and Hanna Gambrel; grandson, Heath (Acacia) Gambrel; great-granddaughter, Camila Gambrel; and brother, Eddie Baker, as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service for Charlotte Ann Hicks will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maynard Marcum and Jimmy Gambrel.
