Charlotte "Cokie" Jacobs

Charlotte (Cokie) Jacobs, 84, of Sophia, NC., went to her heavenly home to meet Jesus and her husband Leroy on December 17, 2025, at Hospice of the Piedmont in the presence of her family.

Born April 22, 1941, in Rockingham County, she is the daughter of the late Charlie Mack Coleman and the late Minnie Coleman.  

Charlotte was a great person, loved everyone including humans and animals and was the neighborhood mom to all the kids around. 

She enjoyed camping, VW Beetles, and spending time with family and friends.  She was a member of the Shining Star CB Club and went by the handle of Cokie.  She was a long- time member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting, and worked for Culp, Inc for more than 20 years.

In addition to her parents, Charlottle was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy, her sisters Judy Meeks, Molly Harris, Phyllis Coleman, and brother Ron Coleman.

She leaves behind her son, Chris Jacobs and wife Angela, 2 grandsons, Ryan and Jake, sisters Robin (Sammy) Williams, Linda (Glen) Whitt , and brothers Jeff (Judy), Everett (Chris), and Tim (Fairy) Coleman, nieces, nephews and multiple bonus kids.

Memorial service will be 2:00PM Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel with Pastor Randy Quate officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at High Point Regional Hospital and Hospice of the Piedmont for their fantastic care during her time of transition.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, Ruff Love Rescue, or Randolph County SPCA.
