Born in St. Louis, MO on February 8,1956, Charmayne was a woman of faith and compassion. Her greatest and proudest role was that of mother and grandmother to her four children and six grandchildren. Her loss is felt profoundly by all who had the privilege to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lavern Steinbruegge; sister, Sharon Williams; and brothers, Ronnie and David Steinbruegge.
Charmayne is survived by her son, Tony Abel; son, Josh Freeman and girlfriend, Kelly Ash; daughter, Chelsie Freeman and fiance, Darnell Harris; son, Andrew Freeman and wife, Tara Freeman; and cherished grandchildren, Corry, Chasity, Chase, Maggie, Ashlynn, and Lucy.
Charmayne's legacy of laughter, love and kindness will live on in those who knew and loved her.
Services will be held, Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 12p-2p at St. Louis Cremation, 320 Jungermann Rd, St. Peters, MO 63376
