CharQwan Ray Howse, lovingly known as "Man Man," passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family. CharQwan had a passion for the outdoors-he loved fishing, hunting, and spending time in the country. He enjoyed swimming and, most of all, found his greatest joy in being a devoted and loving father.
CharQwan was baptized at a young age at Belle Meade Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his beloved significant other, Diamond Carter, and their two precious children, Charlie Ray Howse and Carter Ray Howse.
CharQwan also leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Shameka Howse; his maternal grandparents, Maggie Howse-Gaines and Phillip Gaines; his sisters, Monquisha Howse and Chasity Howse; his brothers, Jamontez Howse and Chance Vaughn Jr.; and his aunt, Donquisha Howse.
He was blessed to have three father figures throughout his life-Tre'Mayne Woods, Darius Hunter Sr., and Charles Ray Akkenwho each played a meaningful role in his upbringing and helped shape the man he became.
Through these father figures, CharQwan was surrounded by a large and loving blended family. From Tre'Mayne Woods, he gained siblings Tikyra, Maycyi, Tremya, Tremara, and Tremayne. Through Darius Hunter Sr., he shared bonds with siblings Ladarius Hunter, Demontez Watkins, Darrin Hunter, Bryson Hunter, Bryce Hunter, and Dream Hunter. And through Charles Ray Akken, he is remembered by siblings Charvez and Charles.
Also mourning his passing are his aunts Sharonda, LaNetta, and Lakiesha, and his uncles Kendall and James, along with a host of cousins, relatives, and friends who will remember his kind spirit, loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. CharQwan's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
