Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Gateway Church, 4209 Basswood Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76137
Chase was born on June 26, 1981, in Fort Worth, Texas. His parents, Joey and Cecilia McLean are high school sweethearts and Chase was their first born. He was known and loved for his charismatic personality, his beautiful tenor voice, his brilliance and for having a servant's heart. Above all, Chase loved Jesus Christ and his son, Avery Carter McLean.
Chase was actively involved in his church and bible study groups. He had a passion for food, loved cooking for others and working out. He will always be remembered for giving those around him a good laugh and for being willing to help others, even strangers.
Chase was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and JoAnn McLean and Irene Murphy.
Chase is survived by his parents, Joey and Cecilia McLean; sister, Valarie McLean; son, Avery Carter McLean; and Avery's mother, Summer Carter; his love, Sarah Mitchell and daughter Sophia; many family members, numerous uncles, cousins and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the non-profit, TACO, Team Awareness Combating Overdose (www.tacoinc.org ).
