Chase Wayne Watson, 39, of Lubbock, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Chase was born on July 7, 1986, in Plainview, Hale County, Texas.
Chase attended Plainview High School, graduating in 2004. He furthered his education by attending Texas Tech University and obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife Tammi, of Lubbock; grandparents Richard and Penny Watson of Plainview, his mother Liana Watson and his Great Uncle Gary Nickel.
Memorial Services for Chase will be held at 3 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Venue on Broadway at 2202 Broadway, next to Combest Family Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
Those who wish to remember Chase, his family requests that in lieu of customary floral offerings to please donate in his memory to Kat's Alley Cats, PO Box 16151, Lubbock, TX 79490.
There will be a reception held with refreshments served, for family and friends, immediately following the memorial services at the home of Gregory and Brittany Nidy, 1440 5th Street, Shallowater, TX 79363.
