Glen Beyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Slay Memorial Funeral Center - Aubrey on Feb. 4, 2026.
The life of Glen R. Beyer, marked by love, service, and devotion, came to a close on December 28, 2025, at the age of 75 at his home in Aubrey, TX.

Glen began life in 1950 as the 6th born of Jackson and Elizabeth Beyer. As Glen grew older, he decided to leave Utah in favor of greener pastures in Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1972, then joined the Army Reserves. He served for 10 years before hanging up his boots. During those 10 years, he met his wife, Barbara, and went on to father two children, Meghan, and Adam. Glen was a businessman through and through. He climbed the ladder at Xerox Co. until Barbara got the wild idea to start their own business. In 1988, Glen and Barbara founded their business that is still thriving to this day. Glen had an intricate knowledge of life, and he lived his life like a well thought out round of spades when he bid nil. Patience, observation, and knowing just the right time to take advantage of an opportunity. Many people have commented on how Glen has changed their lives; it is fascinating that a quiet-natured, quick-witted man could so profoundly affect so many people. During his three quarters of a century on this green Earth, Glen impacted countless lives and we are all better for the guidance and companionship of this great man.

Glen is survived by his wife Barbara, two children (Meghan and Adam), and seven grandchildren (Damian, Michael, Lily, Evangeline, Joseph, Matthew, and Patrick), with twin grandchildren on the way (expected in April).

To any that read this, Glen didn't dwell on thoughts and happenings. He loved and cared for everyone. He would not want anyone to feel sad or mourn his passing. Instead, he would want everyone to remember. Remember his life and remember his legacy:

There will be a memorial service for Glen on May 16, 2026, at 3:00PM at the Amenity Center, 7600 Del Web Blvd., Little Elm, T 76227.
