Chasity Butler Obituary
Chasity Lynn Butler, age 46, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare.
She was born on October 17, 1978 in Laurens, South Carolina and was the daughter of Freda Satterfield Butler of Waterloo and the late Louis “Billy” Butler III. Chasity worked in textiles, several convenience stores and as a waitress. She attended Beaverdam Baptist Church.
Chasity is survived by her daughters, Tristin Manley (Stephen) of Waterloo, Summer Butler (Connor Creswell) of Laurens and Destiny Gedeist of Waterloo;
her brother, Louis “Billy” Butler IV. of Waterloo; her nieces, Elizabeth Marlene Butler and Jessica Butler; her nephews, Darron James Butler and Matthew Butler.
In addition to her father, Chasity is preceded in death by her sister, Freda Loree Gedeist Butler.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. Phil Bryson officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
