Chatori Lynn Saunders

Chatori Lynn Saunders, 48, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on February 15, 2026, at her residence. She was born on September 30, 1977, in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of Jeffrey Saunders and the late Charlotte Saunders.

Chatori was Baptist by faith and a proud 1995 graduate of Steubenville “Big Red” High School. She worked for several years at McDonald’s, where she enjoyed serving customers and interacting with others. Chatori loved laughing, dancing, cooking, watching classic movies, and most of all, spending time with her beloved granddaughter and family. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm spirit, and kind heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Charlotte Saunders.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Jeffrey Saunders; her children, Brandon J. Saunders (Crystal) and Jaylen M. Turner; her siblings, Keana Ellis (Kareem) and Jeffrey Saunders; her granddaughter, Kamiyah; her bonus grandchildren, Mayaunna, ViLeigha, and Bri’elle; her nieces and nephew, Tariq, Kareem Jr. “KJ,” and Amira; and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Gregory-Martin Funeral Chapel, 255 South 7th Street, Steubenville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gregory-Martin Funeral Home to assist the family.
