Gates: Saturday, October 4, 2025, surrounded by his family, at age 60. He is predeceased by his parents, Chrouk Som and Touch Pel; sister, Peov Som. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Chanthorn Mao Som; children, Lyna Som and Bobby Som; grandchildren, Milyna, Kalyna, and Lylan Lamar; brother, Narin Som; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Chan and David Ferris; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Chay had worked at TCS Industries for over 20 years.
Friends may call Thursday, October 9, from 5:00-8:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 10, at 9:00 AM in the funeral Home. Immediately following will be a procession to Rochester Crematory, Inc, in Fairport.
