Chelsea Marie Simonsen passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 11. Chelsea, along with her twin sister, Mallory, was born in Norfolk, VA to parents, Christine & James Simonsen Jr. She was a free spirit who loved adventures and being with her friends. Chelsea was a kind soul to all and loved her circle of people deeply. She also had a deep love of animals, especially bunnies! Chelsea was a dedicated member of the Girls Scouts of America and a percussionist for her school's band.

Chelsea enjoyed spending her time making slime and bracelets, singing and dancing to K-pop, or snacking on Chik-fil-A or Ramen, with a Dr. Pepper. But most of all, she adored spending quality time with her family and friends.

Chelsea's memory will forever be cherished by her parents, Christine & James, along with her siblings, Miranda, Norah, Landon, and Mallory; her grandparents, Donald & Donna Bettenhausen; her uncle, Andrew (Randal) Bettenhausen; her aunts, Anne (Emmit) White & Bridget (Brian) Parfitt, as well as many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joanna & James Simonsen Sr.
