Chelsea Marie Stierwalt

Chelsea Marie Stierwalt, 33, of Salem, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Chelsea was born on July 29, 1991, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Daughter to Jay Nowacki and Michelle D. Scott. 

She graduated from Bloomington High School South, where she was part of the dance team for most of her high school career. She moved to Salem, Indiana in 2022 where she bought a home, worked, and raised her two boys, Elijah Hooker, age 9 and Draven Hartsock, age 7.

Chelsea was a loving mother, caring and beautiful person. She loved to sing and dance and would light up any room she walked into. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, writing poetry, playing with her cats, and waiting patiently for her favorite holiday, Halloween. 

Cheslea’s contagious laughter, smile and sense of humor will be sadly missed by her loving family; her mother Michelle, her father Jay, her boys Elijah and Draven, her sister Christie, her grandmother Barbara, her stepdaughters Kya Hartsock and Sophia Cardwell, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Please join us in a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, September 10th, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. Memorial service begins at 4:00 pm.
