Cher Ya was born in Xiengkhouang, Laos on April 14, 1940 to Chue Poua Yang and Cha Xiong. His siblings were Nhia Her (Tang Xiong, Pa Lo), Kao (Nha Chong Khang), Phoua (Chang Yer Xiong), Chang Yer (Tang Xiong), and Ying (Fai Dang Xiong).
Cher Ya is survived by his 4 sons & daughters-in-law, 5 daughters & sons-in-law, 64 grand-children, and 34 great grand-children.
Cher Ya was a remarkable man of faith who touched many lives with love and kindness. May his legacy of kindness continue to inspire us. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him."
Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 W. Bluemound Rd. Waukesha, WI. from 8AM till 2PM.
