Cheri Martin Obituary

She was born on May 19, 1956, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Lucy Wallace Bivins and Robert Bivins. She was a registered nurse for Regional Medical Center. She loved going to the beach. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson. Cheri was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Garry Bivins; and her sisters, June Cavanah, Bobbie Simmons, and Patty Whitaker.
Her survivors include her daughter, Michelle Wilkerson of Madisonville; son, Michael Wilkerson of Madisonville; sister, Polly (Kenneth) Roberts of Nebo, KY; grandson, Charlie Wilkerson of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A private burial will be held at Oakley Home Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
Memorial contributions may be made in Cheri's name to Oakley Home Cemetery Fund, 5525 Manitou Road, Manitou KY 42436.
