Cheryl Ann (Alexander)

Cheryl Ann Klima (Alexander), age 69, of Jackson, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1956, in Jackson, Michigan, to Donald and Louise (Hendges) Alexander.

Cheryl is survived by her beloved sisters Cynthia (Rick) Bishop and Cathy Howe; loving nieces and nephews Adam (Ashley Frazee) Howe, Amber (Joe) Niehaus, David Bishop, and Alexander Bishop; cherished great-nieces and great-nephew Mallory Niehaus, Emma Niehaus, and Jackson Howe; special aunt and uncle Jim and Ann Alexander; several cousins.

She was preceded in passing by her devoted parents Donald and Louise Alexander.

Cheryl, a member of the class of 1974 at Michigan Center High School, graduated from Michigan State University and Spring Arbor University. She dedicated her career as a social worker for the State of Michigan until her retirement. Cheryl was passionate about crafts and dedicated many hours to creating handmade items. She also had a keen interest in genealogy and enjoyed conducting Ancestry research. A devoted University of Michigan football fan, she cherished her family and valued the time spent with them. She will be genuinely missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home in Jackson on Monday, September 8, 2025 beginning at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Leoni Township Cemetery, Michigan Center. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
