Chris Spencer

Mary "Chris" Christine Spencer (Berry), 79, passed away on August 23, 2025. She was born on March 30, 1946, to the late George Henry Berry and Billie Jean Berry (Jones).

Mary is survived by her husband, Paul Spencer; daughters, Kim Connors and Tracey Connors; grandchildren, Brittany (Travis) Ostrowski and Jacob Stubbs; great-grandchildren, Ledger and Leighton Ostrowski.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, George and Billie Jean Berry.

Mary was an avid golfer, who also enjoyed bowling and giving her time and heart through her involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She had a love for adventure and fun whether she was trying her luck at the casino, taking trips to Las Vegas, enjoying her time on cruises or visiting one of her favorite spots, at Pigeon Forge. At home she found joy in decorating her home, cooking and being a great host, who made everyone feel welcome. Her true passion was real estate. Those who had the honor of meeting and knowing Mary, will remember her great sense of humor, her ability to make people smile and her generous spirit. She gave freely of herself to family, friends and her community.

Mary's family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Hampton Funeral Home in Jackson from 5pm until 7pm. There will be a celebration of her life on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the funeral home beginning at 3:00pm with Pastor Mike Prince officiating.
