Cheri loved to create music and wrote many songs. I loved playing guitar with her and writing music. Also loved to see her fish in the local waters and ride high on the mountains of TN. I will miss my good friend we even went camping with the moose in Maine and what a crazy fun experience that was hearing the moose come towards us. Irene Goodnight

When I was a kid, my mom used to point out birds to me and tell me what they were called. I felt like we were on some adventure, identifying rare creatures.
We'd hear a chickadee calling out, and she told me it sounds like they're saying, "He did it!" And then not long after would be another, further away, "He did it!" I still think of this every time I hear this call. She taught me to love nature, and to pay attention to the natural world. I love and miss her.
