Cheryl Boyle, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was born on August 27, 1947, in Coffeyville, Kansas. She passed away peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 20, 2024, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Cheryl was the daughter of Ray and Velma Marie (Alderman) King, she grew up in Coffeyville where she attended grade school and middle school and was a graduate of Field Kinley Memorial High School, class of 1965.  Cheryl has always had a close connection to her family, she helped her parents with her younger siblings caring for them like a mother.

Cheryl dedicated a significant portion of her career to the retail industry. She began her journey at Malones transitioning to K-Mart in Human Resources until the store's closure. Her unwavering work ethic continued as she later took on roles at Toy’s R Us and Babies ‘R Us, both of which she left when they closed their doors. Throughout these years, Cheryl also worked diligently at Reasor’s, demonstrating her commitment to her work and community. She eventually retired from Babies ‘R Us when it closed, marking the end of a notable career.

She continued to thrive in a close-knit family environment, her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones, particularly her grandchildren, whom she affectionately called "Mimi."  Her children and grandchildren brought her great joy and happiness.

Cheryl's warm spirit extended beyond her family; she cherished her time spent with her best friend, Joy Hutchison, in Bixby, Oklahoma, where they enjoyed playing Bingo with local residents. Her faith was important to her, as was her church family at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church where she attended whenever she could. Cheryl's home was often filled with the comforting sounds of Hallmark Christmas movies, The Waltons, or games on the Game Show Network, reflecting her love for simple pleasures and the warmth of family traditions.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her two sons, Mark Boyle and his wife Tonya of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Dan Boyle, who resides at home. She was incredibly proud of her grandchildren, Madison Boyle of Colorado Springs and Brad Boyle of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her siblings, brother Mike King of Wentzville, Missouri, and sister Debbie Campbell and her husband Monte of Coffeyville, Kansas, will also hold her memory close. Additionally, she is survived by her nephews, Michael Todd King, George Andrew King, and Rick Campbell, as well as her nieces, April Dawn Torres and Carmen Michelle O’Conner.  Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her son Randall W. Boyle, who left a profound impact on her life.

A visitation in her honor will take place on September 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., in Coffeyville, Kansas. The funeral service will be held the following day, September 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM, also at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.  Cheryl will be laid to rest next to her parents in Fairview Cemetery following the service.  The family has requested those who wish to make memorial contributions in her memory to do so by making those payable to either American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and those can be left in care of the chapel.  To leave a message of condolence, or share a memory visit www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com
